Oleksandr Aliyev picks up injury

Ukraine’s national team have lost Dynamo midfield player Oleksandr Aliyev
for the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches after the Ukrainian
international suffered an ankle injury in training yesterday.
The
24-year-old half-back will be in plaster for the next two weeks and
will therefore miss the World Cup qualifiers against Croatia (6 June)
and Kazakhstan (10 June). According to national team doctor, Oleksandr
will be able to resume training in three weeks.
